'LES JARDINS DE MENTON'

This nice little book of 100 pages presents various gardens set in Menton (A French Rivieraharbor, by the Italian border) which favoured weather allows the growth of many tropical plants. From the Val Rameh Botanical Garden to la Serre de la Madone and le Clos du Peyronnet, this botanical wandering will take you through eight different gardens all with lush flora. Illustrated by original watercolours by Jacqueline Devin and accompanied by historical or anecdotal comments (in French!) it can be both a botanical guide or a pleasant work for the tropical flora grower or the botanical watercolour enthusiast.
